Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting events officers with planning, organising, delivering, and evaluating Civic, Community, and sports events held across the city.
- Providing administrative assistance to the events team, including organising meetings, documenting minutes, updating projects, generating reports, and arranging external goods or services.
- Managing event organisers’ enquiries and bookings submitted via the Event Portal, while coordinating with organisers and relevant internal council departments as instructed.
- Providing assistance to the Events team during on-site events, including evenings and weekends when necessary, to ensure smooth operations.
- Fostering positive connections with event organisers, internal council teams, and essential stakeholders ensuring the smooth execution of an effective events programme.
