An Overview of Racketball

Compared to squash it uses a larger ball that does not need warming up and a shorter racket is used. The rallies last longer and the ball moves slower than in squash giving the opponent more time to react and get to the ball.

  • Great cardiovascular and muscular workout

You can book a court with a friend or join one of the many social sessions that run every week in clubs and leisure centres. If you want to play more competitively you can join a box league or get involved in a local competition or event.

Equipment can normally be hired but if you want your own then you will need a racket and a ball. You will also need suitable footwear due to the constant change in direction.
