About Redditch Judo Kwai CIC
Here at Redditch Judo Kwai we aim to deliver and foster the sport of Judo in a friendly and educational way. All levels, ages and abilities are welcome, giving the local community opportunities for recreation, competition, fitness, making friends and to feel a sense of belonging.
We strongly belive that Judo should be accessible to everyone and no matter the person, everybody can gain something from the sport of Judo, this includes their family members.
Head Coach's Oliver and Claire have over 30 Years experience that combines both a technical and competition background. They are both qualified UKCC Level Two coaches in Judo and are both DBS checked.
Oliver and Claire regularly attend, revalidation courses throughout the year, keeping them update with all the latest that is going on in the world of Judo.
The coaching team and committee are purely made up of volunteers and contribute for the love of the sport, to benefit the club and to give something back to the local community.
We are a small friendly club, with traditional values.
Redditch Judo Kwai are affiliated to the Midlands/Worcestershire branch of the British Judo Association (BJA) who is our sport's Governing Body in the UK. The BJA then belongs and is governed by the IJF (The International Judo Federation, which includes governing bodies from all of the world)
