Calling all boys and girls aged 13-16 & all adults over the age of 60! Following England’s thrilling victory at this year’s Cricket World Cup, Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, is calling on grandparents and grandchildren in the region to play cricket at one of the country’s iconic venues, Edgbaston.

This unique event will unite different age groups from across the West Midlands around a shared interest in sport; promoting respect and inclusion, and showcasing the community ethic that our wonderful region has.

On the day there will be mixed teams of older people aged 60+ and teams of 13-16 year old's who will have the chance to come together to play and learn from each other in an effort to break down generational boundaries.

No previous experience needed! Registration for places is now open for young people aged 13-16 and adults aged 60 and over.

100 places in total will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis - so get booking now!
