Forging New Partnerships

At Sport Birmingham, our mission is clear: to create a healthier, more active Birmingham by promoting the benefits of sport and physical activity. This goal requires more than just passion; it demands strategic alliances with like-minded organisations who share our vision for a healthier, happier community.

Enter Tricorn Cafe, a vibrant establishment known not only for its exceptional cafe and social meeting space but also for its dedication to supporting our initiative. Their decision to partner with Sport Birmingham signifies a shared commitment to the well-being of our city and its residents.

Through this collaboration, Tricorn Cafe has generously agreed to provide 10% kickback funding on all food and drink purchases made by our staff and affiliates utilising their services. This innovative approach not only supports our fundraising efforts but also encourages our community members to enjoy the offerings at Tricorn while contributing to a worthy cause.

Daniel Evans (Tricorn Café owner) “We are very excited to be supporting Sport Birmingham. As a local business we believe it is important that they play a role in supporting our local community which is exactly what this partnership is all about by doing what we can to enable the great work of Sport Birmingham.”

Dan Smith (Senior Partnerships Manager – Business Development) “The impact of this partnership extends far beyond monetary support. It presents the spirit of collaboration and community engagement, demonstrating what can be achieved when organisations unite for a common purpose. Together, we are not only raising funds but also raising awareness of the importance of physical activity in leading healthy, fulfilling lives. This partnership boosts our fundraising to keep improving lives through sport and physical activity in Birmingham. Plus, it means our team and partners get to enjoy tasty food and drinks while supporting our cause.”

Sport Birmingham is thrilled to join forces with Tricorn Cafe, and we look forward to the positive outcomes that this partnership will bring for our community. Together, we will continue to make strides towards a healthier, more active Birmingham for all.
