Hilden Charitable Fund – Deadline: 4th June 2019
The Hilden Charitable Fund's Summer Play Scheme is now open for applications. The Fund supports community groups and voluntary agencies with an income of less than £150,000 that run summer play schemes for children between the ages of 5 and 18 in disadvantaged communities.
Supported schemes should be:
• For children aged 5 to 18 years
• Locally based and lasting between two and six weeks
• Have strong volunteer support.
Some priority will be given to projects which show that they are inclusive of children from refugee families and have BME involvement. Schemes supported will have a budget of under £12,000.
The average grant awarded in 2018 was £1,071. A total of 21 schemes were supported representing £22,500 in total.
The closing date for applications is Tuesday June 4th 2019

Santander Community Plus Fund – Deadline: Rolling
UK registered charities can apply for a grant of up to £5,000. The funding must be for a specific project that helps disadvantaged people. For example, this could be for a piece of equipment or to pay for the costs of a part time sessional worker. To apply, just visit any Santander branch and complete a nomination form. The completed form should be dropped into the box provided in your local branch. There are no closing dates and entries will be regularly considered by a panel of staff drawn from across the region. Successful charities will be notified within 2 months of submitting their nomination.
