About NCS Team Leader/Support
What are you up to this coming Summer? National Citizens Service (NCS) is a fantastic opportunity open to all 15 to 17-year-olds across England, providing them with skills and experiences that can't be learnt in the classroom. Since 2011, 28,856 young people have taken part in Catch22 NCS programmes, dedicating over 430,000 hours to social action and community projects.
Over 3000 dedicated members of Catch22 NCS staff helped make this happen. You could join us and help make our NCS programme even better this summer. Apply now and gain new skills that employers will love.
We have opportunities across England between June and August 2019. As a minimum, you'll need to be available for four weeks during this period, but you may be able to work up to eight if you want! You could even get involved with keep-warm and graduation ceremonies at other times of the year.
The programme is split into three distinct parts:
|Weeks three and four:|
|You will go away with your team for four nights and five days for outdoor adventure, new challenges and team-building||This is the part of the programme where the young people learn new skills and get to know the community better||You will support your team design and implement a project that will make a real difference to their local community|
Not sure where to start? We have a range of roles on offer in 2019.
|New to working with young people? This entry-level role is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience of youth work.||Already have experience of working with young people? This mid-level role will give you the opportunity to build on your experience from previous placements||Seasoned Youth worker? This role will allow you to develop your leadership and planning skills.|
