About Active Suffolk Partnership Director

After a long period of stable leadership, and following the retirement of our current Director, Active Suffolk is now seeking a new Director to lead the organisation into the next phase of its existence. We are seeking an outstanding strategic leader with the passion, skills and commitment to realise our vision and shape our organisation to meet the needs of the future.

Active Suffolk has built a strong and trusted reputation locally and partnership working and collaboration lie at the heart of everything we do. We have a highly skilled and motivated Board and Team committed to delivering our vision and improving the health and wellbeing of local people.
Despite the current challenges facing us all, right now is a truly exciting time to join us. National partners are increasingly using the network of Active Partnerships to deliver national priorities and both the Government and Sport England's new strategy will provide a renewed focus for our work. Active Suffolk has developed its own eight-year Strategy, setting out its ambitions to 2025 and is currently undertaking a mid-term review that will shape our approach over the next 4 years. This review will enable us to reflect on the current strategic context and set the framework
for our approach in the years ahead.
