About Education and Skills Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Education and Skills Officer to join the Aston Villa Foundation to lead on the planning and delivery of a variety of Education and Interventions programmes. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and deliver high-quality educational schemes of work to divert young people and adults towards positive pathways and empower them to release their potential.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading the planning and delivery of educational schemes of work and community intervention activities, including sport sessions, enrichment projects and qualifications The role includes mentoring young people in community settings, developing educational resources and tracking the journeys of participants across multiple programmes.

The post holder will need to be qualified to minimum of a Level 2 in youth work and/or sport and have extensive experience in the education and sport sector. The role will require the person to undertake evening and weekend delivery.
