Would you like to be part of an international sporting event at Edgbaston Stadium? This is your chance!
Edgbaston Stadium are looking for friendly, helpful and smiling faces to contribute to our match day experience on our International and Major Match Days. Our cohort of match day volunteers are some of the first faces visitors to the stadium see so it's essential you are happy to help, answer any questions and point people in the right direction.
We have the following Major Matches yet coming up this season:
- England v Pakistan Investec Test Match – Wednesday 3rd August – Sunday 7th August
- NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day – Saturday 20th August
You must be free to attend an introductory session on Tuesday 12th July starting at 6pm.
Front of House:
- This will involve directing retail queues, handing out freebies and guides and answering any customer FAQ's. These individuals are often some of the first people visitors to the stadium see so it is important they are a friendly, happy and helpful. Some experience in customer service would be advantageous for this role.
- This involves ensuring there is no build-up of queues and answering any customer FAQ's. This can be a high pressured role, however stewards are always on hand to help you with anything the volunteer may need. This role is about using common sense and knowledge of the stadium to ensure certain areas are not becoming densely populated – where catering workers can feel under pressure and customers can begin to get agitated.
