Birmingham Sports Awards 2017: How to Nominate

On September 20, professionals, amateurs, clubs and managers alike will gather at Birmingham's iconic Edgbaston Cricket Ground for the return of one of the most hotly anticipated events on the sporting calendar.
The Birmingham Sports Awards reward those that have dedicated themselves to sport and have subsequently made huge strides in their event(s) over the past 12 months. An accolade at the sports awards brings with it great prestige to an individual or club's name.
The following are the 13 nomination categories
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Professional Sportsman of the Year
- Professional Sportswoman of the Year
- Professional Young Sportsperson of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Amateur Sportsman of the Year
- Amateur Sportswoman of the Year
- Manager/Coach of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Community Award
- Volunteer of the Year
- Junior Team of the Year
- Junior Sportsperson of the Year

How to Nominate:
To nominate your athlete, team or volunteer into this year's awards, simply fill in their details on the following link and state which award you wish to put them forward for, demonstrating in a maximum of 250 words why you think they should be a winner at the 2017 Birmingham Sports Awards.
As a finalist, you will receive 2 tickets to the awards ceremony on Wednesday, 20th September 2017, at the Edgbaston Stadium.
All entries are to be judged by an independent judging panel compiled by Trinity Mirror.
