Happy, Healthy Holidays is a city-wide scheme providing free food and fun activities for children and young people age 5-16 years across Birmingham during this school summer holidays.
The scheme is funded by the Department for Education, and run by a partnership of Birmingham based organisations: Accord Housing; The Active Wellbeing Society, Sport Birmingham; and Birmingham Play Care Network. We are supporting community-based organisations to provide free food and activities and ensure that children across Birmingham can have a happy, healthy holiday.
Children who want to take part in this scheme can register their details from Wednesday 26th June onwards. You can also register on the day of the activity at a venue but by registering now, you will receive updates and information about the scheme.
Children age 13 or over can register themselves.
Children age under 13 need to be registered by a parent, or the person who has parental responsibility for the child (in accordance with UK Data Protection legislation on processing children's data).
Note: some of the venues taking part in the Happy Healthy Holidays programme may require a responsible adult to accompany a child. Please check with the venue for more details before you attend.
