24 projects endorsed by United by Birmingham 2022

In our newsletter on 12 May 2020, we shared news with you about four Sport Birmingham projects that have been endorsed by United by Birmingham 2022.

This week, we wanted to share a further update as 24 projects in total have now been endorsed by United by Birmingham 2022, of which around one-third focus on physical and mental health and wellbeing. This is great news for the sport and physical activity sector and testament to the impactful work taking place in the community across Birmingham and the West Midlands. To find out about all the live projects in the United by Birmingham 2022 community programme, click here.

The role of the community programme is to recognise projects that are delivered by grass-roots organisations that are having a positive impact on the communities that they serve across a diverse range of subjects. These include but are not limited to projects that; aim to improve skills, offer training, provide volunteering resource, benefit the environment, encourage participation in sport, or deliver youth engagement activities.
