The survey will not judge organisations on their mental health progress. Rather, it focuses on understanding how Mind can develop their support to embed mental health across sport and physical activity ecosystems.
The survey findings will also help to champion sport and physical activity as an engagement tool and mechanism for delivering mental health outcomes.
Mind are looking for grassroots sport and physical activity organisations who work at a county to national level in England and Wales to complete the survey. This includes: NGBs, Active Partnerships, leisure operators, professional sport club trusts and foundations, and national organisations and charities. The survey isn't appropriate for sports clubs and physical activity providers at a local level.
Mind would like to hear from all organisations, including those who may not have worked on mental health previously. They urge organisations to be open and honest about their mental health journey in the survey so Mind can provide relevant and effective support to the sector.
The survey is open for six weeks and will close on the 21st April 2021. There is also a chance to win a £100 voucher.
