Sport Birmingham is governed by a number of Board members who bring with them a wealth of skills and knowledge. The Board's key aims are to work with partners to increase participation in sport, physical education and active recreation, and to build clear pathways for people with sporting talent to enable them to reach their potential.

Urvasi Naidoo
Urvasi is a solicitor and chartered company secretary with over 17 years experience in the sports sector as a lawyer, governance professional, senior manager, trustee and volunteer, Urvasi is currently employed as Compliance and Contracts Manager at the Commonwealth Games Federation which is a timely change given that the next Commonwealth Games are in Birmingham in 2022. Previous roles include working with Salt Lake 2002, Athens 2004, Vancouver 2010, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics, International Cricket Council and International Netball Federation.
