Meet The Team
Following the Government's recent advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Sport Birmingham team is working remotely with immediate effect.
Individual team members can be contacted via work mobiles and email, please find their details below.
Like so many others, the sport and physical activity sector has already been significantly challenged by coronavirus and this is only likely to accelerate in the weeks and months ahead.
More importantly than ever, we need to work together to ensure our people, communities and organisations stay safe and as strong as possible. Our 'virtual' door remains open! If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to ask.
Leon Moses: Youth & Sport Engagement Manager
Youth & Sport Engagement Manager
Leon is a Youth & Sport Engagement Manager, who co-ordinates the MAD project in Perry Barr. Leon has over 20 years of experience working with young people in such areas as youth offending service, prison service, connexions, mentoring in schools, youth service and Continental Star F.C. Since leaving formal education he has been involved in a number of community projects on a paid and voluntary basis.
This has provided him with extensive knowledge, skills and expertise in working with and amongst young people. The experience of spending most of his teenage years in these deprived areas of Birmingham has motivated him to make a difference and create a positive change for young people by creating the opportunities he was not afforded as a young person.
