Sport Birmingham, as one of the 'Move More Eat Well' programme partners, will be delivering the 'Active Communities' intervention which focuses on two elements:
1) To increase the number of volunteers and deploy them into the different interventions of the programme
2) Support the strength and sustainability of local organisations
We will be running a series of workshops for you to attend that are aimed at individuals and organisations. In addition to this we would like to meet you to discuss how we can work with you and support you over the next couple of years.
The first 'Active Communities' workshops will run at Bournville College on:
23rd March - Safeguarding and working with young people
6th April - Improve your fundraising
The workshops are free and have limited spaces so please register below
On 2nd March we will be delivering the first recruitment day for volunteers at Bournville College working with Dan Russ (Bournville College Sport Maker) where Sport Birmingham will be speaking to students about the aims of the project and how they can get involved.
